I know a little something about writing. You have to exceed your advance to get any more money regarding your royalties, which generally rarely happens for unknown/non-famous authors. It’s said his first book sold about 250,000 copies. Don’t know how true that is. I’m being very kind here and give him 10% of sales of a maybe $15.00 book (being kind again). So that’s $375,000. He said it takes a year so think of all the bills accumulating paying publishers, editors, lawyers, marketing/advertisement, models for covers, taxes and such. Probably walked away with maybe $200K, I’m being very kind. That’s not enough to live on in Cali, when you need a decent home, furniture, a car and Chicken George suits, taking exotic vacations and supporting a teenager.
So he wrote three books, he’s on an average of 1 book every two years; basically when he’s running out of money, here comes a book-hence How to be a Golddigger. Is that the next one? He wants to appeal to the ladies and hit that market! Black broads are done with him! He wants Urban women to buy this book, when you have dogged them so viciously? How can Tariq use your likeness commercially without your permission? He is making profit, using your name in parody songs and posting your pictures online. Eventhough, your not famous he's using your likeness commercially. Not to mention, he sampled an entire song (It's so Cold in the D)from an unknown artist....making money. It's one of the most outrageous things we've tried on the show this year and the results are just as audacious. I still can't figure out which moment I love the most -- when Tariq pushes Minnesota Senator Rod Gramms to try on a pair of "ho heels," or the look on the face of the Democratic National Party official when Tariq compliments him on the party's pimping skills.
But here's the weirdest part. The piece opens with a mention of Rep. Bill Thomas who chairs the House subcommittee that regulates HMOs. Yesterday, the Bakersfield Californian reported that unbeknownst to us, Thomas had been having an affair with one of the top lobbyists for the HMO industry! Jeez, does everything have to be so literal?

Tariq moved from Detroit to Birmingham, Alabama as a young child in the early 1980s. Due to slow pace and boredom of the social scene Tariq dropped out of high school and decided to leave Birmingham for Los Angeles, California at age 17. While living in L.A,he found himself homeless.So he would often use public libraries as temporary shelter in the daytime,while hanging out with Hollywood street hustlers at night. Mr. No Good, a guy who had a very entertaining podcast and someone who Ace also emulates basically exposed payroll as a child molesting, ex meth addict who's on the run due to a warrant for his arrest. Payroll had a short stint on Youtube but that's over also.

People kill me with that monitoring IP addresses stuff....like they Homeland Security. IP addresses change every time you turn off your modem and turn it back on! Administrators can't follow you to other sites and track your IP addresses. They can generally only monitor (IP addresses) who are members on the specific site they administer! Ace/Flex/Winni the Poo who ever don't administer MyPodcast! You don't have to be a member to post on anyone's podcast...so they can't trace your IP address! UGH!
To the above poster, so must Tariq....because he started up again the entire situation, with his Emancipation crap and parody songs because his new books is coming out and he needs attention.

If you noticed I said syndrome. Sadly, too many of our people have this instigating mentality. When I hear brothers talking like that I have to straighten them out.

Who's hating on TN? Why is it when ever someone receives criticism it's deemed as hating/jealousy? TN, has contradicted himself too many times, and numerous people who I dare say are fans too...are now starting to call him on it. The first thing TN does, is slam them in a PodCast or in the comment section. Post their pictures online cyber bullying them, if they dare have an opinion and contest whathe says. He's so busy yet, he has time to clown people consistently and can't take it when the tables are turned.
I can't believe how people are still caught up in his con-foolery. Here it is he released early copies of his book with his autograph, specifically telling people if they want this limited offer, to order quickly. Then when these fools do it, he states they are making him MAD because he's now telling them to go to Amazon.Com? What gratitude! (SARCASM)His arrogance is uncanny! Dude now wants Amazons ranking and try to get back on the best-sellers list again; which ain't happening! He's ranked at like 52,000 which is only like 1 book a week sold on Amazon.Com.
